Mi (Burmese: မီ) is a 2018 Burmese drama film, written and directed by Na Gyi. Paing Phyo Thu portrayed as the lead character "Mi", along with Nay Toe as Thaw Swe. The film is an adaptation of the novel "Mi" by prominent and well-respected novelist, Kyi Aye. Mi was produced by Victoria Film Production and premiered in Myanmar on November 9, 2018. Despite the high expectations, the film was well received by the audience. There were harsh public criticisms at Myanmar Academy Awards (2018) for leaving Mi with no award.
Mi received 2 nominations (Best Actress, Best Film) and 1 award (Best Director of Photography) at ASEAN international Film Festival and Awards (2019). Mi was also officially selected for Cardiff International Film Festival (2020) and Festival International de Cinema de Lleida Visual Art (2020)
Based on the true story, In 1959 in Central Burma, two evil brother Nga Htoo Zaw and Nga Htoo Maw reincarnated into twins from hatred and revenge. The Abbot tell them they must separate and release hatred and learn how to love or otherwise they will suffer in Samsara (circle of life and death) for eternity.

Hmone Shwe Yee (Burmese: မှုံရွှေရည်, lit. 'golden pollen'), is a 1970 Burmese black-and-white drama film starring Win Oo, Khin Than Nu and Aung Lwin. The film won the Best Picture Award and Win Oo won the Best Actor Award in 1970 Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards.
The film's namesake comes from an eponymous song, which was written by an anonymous composer in the early 20th century. It remains a popular classic performed on radio and performances, including a prominent cover by a classical singer named Tin Tin Mya.
